Automation-Development Engineer Control Systems f/m/d


The Development Engineer Control Systems is responsible for development tasks with a focus on automation systems (B&R / Siemens / Beckhoff). These development tasks include concept design, execution up to validation as well as being part of project teams to ensure proper implementation of the designed solution.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Development of automation solutions for conditioning systems within automotive test beds
  • Alignment of interfaces and solutions with other engineering disciplines
  • Analysis of system requirements for product development (i.e. graphical user interfaces, PLC system, system integration in automation platform AVL PUMA)
  • Collaboration in R&D and customer projects, onsite commissioning of automation systems for automotive test beds, including racing applications
  • Creation of functional descriptions
  • Participation in Lessons Learned, HRAs and FMEAs

YOUR PROFILE:


  • Electrical engineering or automation engineering graduate of a secondary technical college/university of applied sciences/university of technology or master craftsman qualification in these fields
  • At least 3 years of experience in Electrical / Automation Engineering
  • Good knowledge with PLC systems hardware and software (e.g. B&R, Beckhoff), experience in Matlab/Simulink preferred
  • Experience in Control Engineering (temperature, flow, pressure, …) for thermal applications
  • Practical experience in managing international projects
  • Team spirit, diplomatic skills and self-confidence
  • Sound knowledge of English written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel globally (up to 20%)

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €53,200.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
