Position overview
Are you interested in learning more about Planning in the world leading industrial coating resins company? We are seeking an experienced and solution-oriented colleague to join our team. You will be responsible for the operational planning of raw materials and finished goods and ensure an effective as well as efficient planning and scheduling process. If you have an analytical, communicative, and assertive personality with a focus on improvements, then we are looking forward to receiving your application.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for inventory levels, safety stocks and reorder points of raw materials and finished goods.
- Forecasting for major RM for procurement and monthly update.
- Handling call-off orders, order confirmations and follow up with suppliers to meet delivery requirements.
- Creation of process orders and production schedule of assigned finished goods to meet customer expectations.
- Entering complaints and tracking improvements of service from vendors.
- Handling intercompany transfer orders between allnex plants.
- Support review and handling of slow moving and off- spec material.
- Preparation of reports and KPIs (e. g. safety stocks, open orders, service levels,…).
- Perform root cause analysis for lost time incidents due to missing raw materials and take actions to avoid recurrence.
Required skills and experience
- Work experience in raw material or production planning preferred.
- Solid IT knowledge (PPS/ERP systems, MS Office/advanced Excel skills, preferably SAP experience).
- Very good German and English language is mandatory
- Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills with hands- on mentality.
- Flexibility with strong ability to organize and prioritize according to needs.
