A Centrifuge / Automation Instructor is responsible for training service engineers and customers on both our Centrifuge and Automation Beckman Coulter product lines. The instructor will support the development of curriculums and e-learnings. This individual should possess a strong blend of technical, analytical, organizational, and training skills. This role is based in Vienna and is hybrid. This role will report to the Global Customer and Service Training Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design curriculums and teach service training courses.
Design application-focused curriculums and teach customer training courses.
Monitor student performance, collect feedback, and improve curriculum for both service and customer trainings.
Provide excellent customer service for both internal and external customers.
Utilize LMS tools to administer and track training and certification.
Utilize Augmented and Virtual Reality tools to improve training delivery.
Participate in the creation of customer training marketing materials.
Manage a BioSafety Level II customer training lab and ensure all training safety, quality and regulatory requirements are in compliance with standards and agencies such as: ISO, GMP and FDA.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Biological of Physical Sciences, Engineering or Education; advanced degree preferred
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English . Knowledge of German or French is an asset.
Experience in training and curriculum creation preferred
Experience in using Beckman Coulter Centrifuge or Automation instrumentation preferred
Experience in managing laboratory and clean-room operation is preferred
Experience in GLP and GMP is preferred
This job requires availability to 50% travel
Basis for negotiation: €75,000 gross annual salary
