We are looking for a Head of Business Development
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Have an established network of potential customers.
- Have knowledge and interest in blockchain, distributed ledger technologies, and cryptocurrencies.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Be familiar with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Have strong abilities in decision-making and leadership.
- Have a high level of proficiency in English, German is considered a plus.
- Have a solid understanding of business operations and proficiency in interpreting financial data with effective market research capabilities.
- Have strong negotiation skills.
- Have creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Have an analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Be advanced in time management and organizational skills.

As Head of Business Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in our exciting new office located in the heart of Vienna. Plus, you’ll have the flexibility to choose between remote, in-office, or a hybrid work arrangement.
- Develop and implement new business models for products and services, fostering internal innovation and advancement of the existing business.
- Lead the sales team, improve sales processes and client acquisition.
- Generate leads together with your team to reach sales goals.
- Build a sales referrer network incl. onboarding, trainings, quality assurance and controlling procedures.
- Manage overall responsibility for company’s CRM system incl. related operational tasks.
- Secure project financing through grants and funding opportunities, while also establishing strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers, as well as other business and project partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise and implement business development strategies, supporting business growth through elaborated plans and processes.
- Spearhead market research efforts to identify fresh opportunities for the company, analysing financial data for cost efficiency and revenue increase.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to make informed business decisions.
