We are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer with experience in energy law, EPC, and project finance to join our team for the role of Senior Legal Counsel for Team Austria and the International C&I team

Tasks

Position Summary:
As a Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing legal support and advice to our company in various aspects of law, including corporate, EPC, M&A and project finance for the Austrian market as well as for the international C&I team. You will work closely with the management team of both teams as well as the General Counsel. You will be responsible for the entire legal aspects of both teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support to the company in all aspects of energy regulatory matters, M&A, corporate, EPC and project finance
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents
• Hire and manage external counsel
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate legal risks
• Negotiate agreements with partners, vendors, and other stakeholders
• Participate in the development and implementation of renewable energy projects, joint ventures, industrial cooperation, M&A projects and other strategic projects
• Conduct legal research and analysis as required
• Collaborate with other functions to support company objectives

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a lawyer in the field of energy law, EPC, and project finance • Excellent understanding of relevant legal frameworks and regulations
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts and agreements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Austrian law degree
