Your responsibilities:- Responsible for part selection, prototyping, factory bring up, and lab bench debug and root cause.
- Work with the Electrical Engineering hardware team to provide PCB board design.
- Design schematics, complete board layouts, assembly, test, debug.
- Integrate designs into opto-electro-mechanical systems.
- Perform lab measurements and factory tests as needed to validate the design and resolve any issues.
- Determine and execute development, integration, bring-up and test plans.
- Work with internal cross-functional team and external CM to successfully bring AR product to market.
Your qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies, or you are enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program of electrical engineering, optoelectronics, telecommunications, or a comparable university degree (BSc degree, MSc degree or higher preferred). Or HTL degree with several years of working experience.
- First experience with PCB design tools, preferred Altium (Eagle, Kicad,…).
- Lab experience, handling of equipment like oscilloscopes and soldering stations.
- Hands-On Mentality.
- Experience with semiconductor laser and/or MEMS technologies a plus.
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of the German language is a plus.
- Ability to work as an autonomous and flexible developer in an interdisciplinary team.
- Outgoing personality and good communication skills.
